This bike tour starts at the train station Bernau near Berlin and leads us through the varied landscape of the Barnim and ends at the historic train station Chorin-Kloster.

Meeting point is the Alte Post at the S-Bahn station of the Brandenburg city of Bernau near Berlin. From here our tour starts in the direction of Lobethal, Biesenthal, Finowfurt, Eberswalde to Chorin. So we cross the Biesenthaler basin and arrive at the flight museum in Finowfurt. After Eberswalde it then goes on the towpath of the Finow Canal Our tour takes us past locks and almost forgotten industrial monuments. At some point we leave Eberswalde, cross the Oder-Havel-Kanal and get into the biosphere reserve Schorfheide-Chorin. The change between vast forests and wide open landscapes forms the basis for a wealth of animal and plant species. Shortly before the end of the tour we drive past the Cistercian monastery, which was built at the end of the 13th century. It still has Romanesque and some Byzantine components, but was then completed mainly in the style of brick Gothic. Along the bank of the Amtsee, we then reach the village and Bahnhofstraße to our destination, the station Chorin. From here, take the Regional Express back to the Bernau train station, our starting point.
